Saint Joseph Festival 2025: the program
From August 24 to September 1, 2025, Favara experienced nine intense days of celebration in honor of Saint Joseph, organized by the Saint Joseph Association chaired by Roberto Cipolla with the support of the Municipality and the parish community.
The festival was inaugurated on Sunday, August 24, with Holy Mass at the Church of the Rosary and the procession of the statue through the neighborhoods, accompanied by traditional soup tastings, and with a show by Salvo La Rosa, Giuseppe Castiglia, and Andrea Barone in Piazza Cavour. Among the most applauded events: the Saint Joseph White Night and the dance evening with Simone Nolasco (August 26), the concert by Silvia Salemi (August 28), the Michael Jackson tribute by Jackson Friends (August 29), the concert by Orietta Berti (August 30), and that of Marcella Bella (September 1).
August 31, a day entirely dedicated to devotion, featured a parade of four marching bands, Sicilian carts, harnessed horses, the solemn procession, and the midnight pyrotechnic-musical show.
