Saint Joseph Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Cianciana confirmed the ritual awaited every year by the community around March 19th. After weeks of preparations starting immediately after Epiphany, with the novena and the Wednesdays of devotion, families set up banquet tables laden with votive breads, purciddati, and almond sweets, open to the visits of locals and visitors. On March 19th, the dawn announcement, the blessing of the tables, the afternoon cavalcade with the reenactment of the flight into Egypt, and the evening procession of the Saint Joseph statue took place, coordinated by the Superiors and accompanied by the band and fireworks.
