Saint Joseph Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Campobello di Licata, in the province of Agrigento, reaffirmed the tradition that sees the entire month of March dedicated to the Patriarch. The parish brought the neighborhood to life with novenas and brotherhood tables, while the thrones of the Sacred Characters — the Holy Family and the Angel, portrayed by actors in traditional costumes — were set up and opened to the public.

The day of March 19th followed the usual ritual: the early morning wake-up call announced by fireworks, the Solemn Masses, the performance of 'The Flight into Egypt', and, in the afternoon, the procession of the Saint Joseph statue on a float decorated with flowers and lights through the streets of the town, illuminated by festive lights, before returning to the parish.
