Saint Joseph Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival was held in Barrafranca on March 19th, on the day dedicated to the Holy Patriarch and Father's Day. As per tradition, the sacred re-enactment of the Flight into Egypt took place in Piazza Regina Margherita: children, dressed in finely embroidered costumes, played Saint Joseph, the Madonna, the Baby Jesus, and the Angel, while three young men on horseback portrayed Herod's emissaries.

Families set up the Tavulata as a vow to the Saint, with minestrone of homemade linguine, seasonal vegetables, and typical sweets. In the preceding weeks, the community renewed the ancient food collection for families in need, the charitable heart of the festival.
