Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Altofonte

In 2025, Altofonte once again celebrated Saint Joseph with the usual program of popular devotion: the novena, processions of the Holy Family statue, the Saint Joseph's Table with the distribution of blessed bread, and on the day of the solemnity, March 19th, the Solemn Mass, the procession through the town, and fireworks, following a tradition organized by the Holy Family Congregation together with the Santa Maria Parish and the Pro Loco.

2025 Edition

The Saint Joseph Festival in Altofonte, a town in the Metropolitan City of Palermo, confirmed itself in March 2025 as one of the community's most heartfelt events. The program followed the traditional structure: the preparatory novena, the procession of the Holy Family statue from the Saint Joseph crypt, the Saint Joseph's Table with the blessing and distribution of blessed bread, and the grand procession on March 19th, the saint's feast day. The festival, an expression of Sicilian popular religiosity, combined liturgical rites, moments of conviviality, and gastronomic traditions, involving the entire population of Altofonte.
