Saint Joseph Feast

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Feast in Castell'Umberto took place in March, following the tradition that links the festivities to the liturgical solemnity of March 19th. In this edition as well, the community of the Messina town gathered around the Maria SS. Assunta Parish for the preparatory Novena, the two processions of the Baby Jesus and Saint Joseph images, Holy Mass, and the blessing of the traditional Saint Joseph soup, distributed to the faithful at the end of the festivities. An event that confirmed the vitality of one of the most cherished traditions in the Nebrodi village.
