Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Feast

In 2025, Balestrate celebrated Saint Joseph on March 18th and 19th with the traditional opening of votive altars, Masses at the Sant'Anna Mother Church, and the solemn procession on March 19th. The fried Sfincia Festival brought the town to life with traditional sweets.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Feast followed the usual schedule between March 18th and 19th. Balestrate's homes hosted votive altars filled with blessed bread, citrus fruits, and sweets, open for the community to visit. On March 19th, the Saint's day, Eucharistic celebrations were held, followed by the solemn procession with the Patriarch's statue through the streets of the center, accompanied by the band. To crown the festivities, the fried Sfincia Festival organized by the Sant'Anna Parish offered sfince and other traditional Sicilian sweets.
