Saint Joseph Feast and Vampa of Cefalù

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Feast in Cefalù took place from March 16th to 19th. On March 17th, the evocative investiture of three new brothers and two sisters of the Confraternity of Saint Joseph took place, with the renewal of confraternal promises. On the evening of March 18th, in Piazza del Duomo, the symbolic Vampa was lit, accompanied by the sfinci tasting. On March 19th, the day of the solemnity, after the morning celebration, the solemn procession was held in the afternoon, accompanied by the S. Cecilia band, with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop Mons. Giuseppe Marciante, followed by the blessing and distribution of blessed bread. The celebrations were led by Father Francesco Lo Bianco and Father Aurelio Biundo.
