Saint Joseph Feast and Procession

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Feast in the Old Town of Milazzo confirmed the vitality of a consolidated tradition. The novena prepared the community for the solemnity of March 19th, with Eucharistic celebrations and the devotion of the Saint Joseph bread. The external festivities in April enlivened the village with the Sfincia Festival, dedicated to the typical pastry of the feast, and with the solemn procession of the statue of the Glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph through the streets of the center, accompanied by the music band. The feast renewed the bond between faith, folklore, and popular identity that characterizes Milazzo and the entire Sicilian tradition.
