Edition 2025 — Saint Isidore Festival

In May 2025, Giarre renewed its tribute to its patron saint, Saint Isidore the Farmer, with the Le Spighe historical pageant, the procession of the statue, and the blessing of the fields. A festival that confirmed the Etna community's strong bond with its rural roots and the city's religious tradition.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Isidore the Farmer Festival in Giarre featured the usual blend of faith and popular tradition. The Le Spighe di Sant'Isidoro historical pageant paraded through the streets of the center with participants in period costumes, while the religious celebrations around May 15th included the solemn Mass, the procession of the statue on shoulders, the blessing of the fields in Piazza Immacolata, and fireworks. An event that attracts devotees and curious visitors to the heart of the province of Catania every year.
