Saint Irene Patronal Feast (with fair)

The 2025 Edition

The patronal feast of Saint Irene took place in Trentinara on October 16, 2025, preceded on October 14th by the traditional fair through the village streets. The event calendar of the Municipality of Trentinara featured a full day, from early morning until late evening, with free admission.

As every year, the heart of the commemoration was the solemn mass in the parish church, followed by the procession of the saint's statue, adorned with flowers and accompanied by hymns and prayers along the alleys of the historic center. The civil portion, managed by the Feast Committee, was concentrated in Piazza dei Martiri e degli Eroi.

In 2025, the event once again drew numerous Trentinara natives residing elsewhere, confirming the feast's role as the main identity-defining appointment for this Cilento village in the province of Salerno.
