Saint Hippolytus Festival, Patron Saint of Vetralla

On August 12th and 13th, 2025, Vetralla celebrated its patron saint, Saint Hippolytus, with the usual blend of devotion and popular festivity. On the evening of August 12th, the procession accompanied the image and the relic of the Saint, a Roman knight traditionally martyred in these Tuscia lands, through the streets of the historic center. On August 13th, the historical pageant and the Saint Hippolytus Palio enlivened the municipal villa, followed by the town square tombola, a band concert, and the final fireworks. The festivities, organized by the Pro Loco Vetralla with the Municipality and local associations, were part of the rich 'Estate Vetrallese' program, which in the preceding days had also offered the evocative 'Night of Saint Lawrence' with stars and candles in the historic center, as well as free cultural, sporting, and gastronomic events.
