About Saint Gottard Festival
Almost Half a Century of Festivities in Padernello
The Saint Gottard Festival is one of the most deeply rooted events in Padernello, a hamlet in the Municipality of Paese, in the province of Treviso. It is organized by the Gruppo San Gottardo, a volunteer association active since 1974 that manages the festival in the area adjacent to the church dedicated to the saint.
Food Stalls and Evenings Together
The heart of the festival is the food stall, open in the evenings and – on some days – also for lunch, with local specialties and dishes served throughout the various evenings: from raclette to venison, up to the great classics of Venetian cuisine. There are also dancing evenings with live music and dance orchestras, and volleyball tournaments that liven up the hamlet's spaces.
Two Weekends and the May 1st Holiday
The festival takes place between late April and the first days of May, taking advantage of the weekends and the May 1st holiday to offer several consecutive evenings. It is a village festival in the truest sense: community, volunteerism, and tradition that are renewed every spring in the Marca Trevigiana region.
Saint Gottard Festival — edition 2026
The 47th edition of the Saint Gottard Festival opens its doors on April 24, 2026, and continues until May 5, taking advantage of the two weekends and the May 1st holiday. The food stall is open in the evenings from 7:00 PM, while on April 26 and May 1, 3, and 5, lunch service is also available from 12:00 PM.
The event takes place in the area adjacent to the church of San Gottardo, in Padernello di Paese, organized by the Gruppo San Gottardo.
