Edition 2025 — Saint Giulia Feast

In 2025, Monastero Bormida once again celebrated its patron saint, Saint Giulia, with the customary village feast in May. The religious celebrations in the Church of Saint Giulia, next to the Benedictine castle and the Romanesque bell tower, renewed a tradition deeply rooted in the Langa Astigiana community, in the province of Asti.

In May 2025, the community of Monastero Bormida gathered for the Saint Giulia Patronal Feast, an event that renews the village's devotion to its patron saint every year. At the center of the commemoration was the liturgical celebration in the Church of Saint Giulia, in the heart of the village's historic center.

As is traditional in the villages of the Langa Astigiana, the village festival developed around the religious moment, providing a meeting point for residents and those returning to Monastero Bormida for this occasion, in the shadow of the castle and the Romanesque bridge over the Bormida river.
