Saint George the Martyr Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Monforte San Giorgio (ME) was spread over a week of festivities, from July 28th to August 3rd, with its epicenter in Piazza IV Novembre.

• Monday, July 28th, 9:30 PM – Dance recital by Into the Dance;
• Tuesday, July 29th, 9:00 PM – Super Treasure Hunt;
• Wednesday, July 30th, 9:45 PM – "The Dance of the Soul's Nuances", dance show by ASD Dreaming;
• Thursday, July 31st, 9:30 PM – Luca Madonia in concert;
• Friday, August 1st – Pairs briscola tournament and gastronomic evening;
• Saturday, August 2nd, 9:00 PM – Comedy "Giucamu a 'mmucciaredda?" by the Gheorghios Cultural Theater Company of the Monforte Catholic Action;
• Sunday, August 3rd, 7:30 PM – Procession of Saint George the Martyr through the village streets, on the feast day of the patron saint.

The week, deeply felt by the community, combined the religious dimension of the patronal solemnity with the secular, theatrical, and gastronomic moments of the Monforte tradition.
