2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Saint George Festival in Piana degli Albanesi confirmed the rich program of tradition: the blessing of the horses in the square, Sicilian drums, medieval games, and folk performances in the days leading up to the solemnity. On April 23rd, after the liturgical celebrations of the Byzantine Greek-Catholic rite, the Dance of Saint George took place, with the Bagnasco statue carried on the shoulders of the Committee's young members through the historic center streets and the return accompanied by the blessing with the Sacred Relic.
