On April 23, 2025, Calatabiano renewed its ancient devotion to Saint George the Martyr, the town's patron since the Norman era. The procession of the exquisite wooden statue of the saint on horseback passed through the historic center, carried on the shoulders of the Sangiorgiari brotherhood and the archpriest, starting from the Mother Church of Maria Santissima Annunziata.

As is tradition, the procession stopped in front of the town hall for the mayor's traditional floral tribute. The day of celebration ended with convivial moments animated by music and the sausage feast, a genuine expression of the community spirit that characterizes this Calatabiano tradition.
