Saint Francis of Paola Summer Festival (August)

The 2025 edition of the summer festival of Saint Francis of Paola in Cefalà Diana was celebrated on the third Sunday of August 2025, confirming the most anticipated event of the year for the local community. In the preceding days, the novena accompanied the faithful in the Mother Church dedicated to the patron saint. On the day of the feast, the statue of the saint was carried in a solemn procession through the streets of the historic center of the village, in the province of Palermo, amidst prayers, hymns, and great popular participation. The brass band accompanied the parade, while the secular program offered performances, the evocative theatrical reenactment of the Saint's miracles, and traditional fireworks to close the celebrations.
