Saint Francis of Paola Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Francis of Paola Festival confirmed the strong bond between Castellana Sicula and its patron saint. The culmination of the festivities was the solemn evening procession, which started at 7:30 PM with the participation of civil and military authorities, all confraternities, and committees, carrying the simulacrum of the saint through the streets of the town.

At the end of the procession, the fireworks display illuminated the sky of the Madonie village, while the evening continued in Piazza San Francesco di Paola with music and entertainment, including cover band performances and moments of popular celebration that involved residents and visitors until late at night.
