Edition 2025 — Saint Erasmus Feast

In 2025, Reitano once again celebrated the feast of its patron saint, Saint Erasmus of Formia, on June 2nd. The community of the small Messina Nebrodi village gathered for the solemn liturgical celebration and the traditional procession of the statue through the streets of the historic center, renewing a devotion passed down from generation to generation.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Erasmus Patronal Feast took place in Reitano (ME) on June 2nd, the day dedicated by the Church to the saintly bishop and martyr venerated as the town's patron. The recurrence featured the typical moments of tradition: the solemn mass in the village church and the procession of the saint through the streets of the Nebrodi village, with the participation of the faithful and those who returned to the town for the occasion. As every year, the feast combined the religious dimension with popular conviviality, confirming itself as the most heartfelt appointment in the calendar of the small Reitano community.
