Edition 2025 — Lou Bal di Bran

In 2025, Meana di Susa once again renewed its appointment with the Saint Costanzo Festival and its Lou Bal di Bran on the Sunday closest to September 18th. Between the procession, Holy Mass, vespers, and the ritual dance of the bran on the parvis, the community celebrated its patron saint and the fertility rite passed down through generations, with the Priore in traditional costume and evening dances in the Salone Polivalente.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Costanzo Festival in Meana di Susa, in the Susa Valley, confirmed the vitality of one of the most evocative ethnographic traditions of the Alpine Piedmont. The day unfolded through its usual moments: in the morning, the procession accompanied by the marching band and Holy Mass in honor of the patron saint; in the afternoon, after vespers, the highly anticipated Lou Bal di Bran on the church parvis, with the two large tree-of-life-shaped bran danced by the village youth. The Priore in traditional dress led the rite of passage, while the festival concluded with public dances in the Salone Polivalente.
