2025 Saint Cecilia Festival

Over the weekend of November 14-16, 2025, Santo Stefano di Camastra celebrated the Saint Cecilia Festival for the second consecutive year, organized by the S. Cecilia Musical Cultural Association led by Vincenzo Perez. From the crack of dawn, seven marching bands composed of musicians of various ages enlivened the historic center, parading through streets and neighborhoods and spreading joy.

Among the groups present were the bands from Santo Stefano di Camastra with their majorette squad, as well as those from Galati Mamertino, Nicosia, Campofelice di Roccella, Castel di Lucio, and Gangi. In the afternoon, the groups were welcomed into the various neighborhoods for social moments between musicians and citizens. The highlight was the procession of the statue of Saint Cecilia, carried on shoulders through the main streets and accompanied by the melodies of the various bands, amidst elders, families, and tourists captivated by the genuine atmosphere of the Nebrodi village.
