Edition 2025 — Saint Cecilia Contigliano

From November 22 to 24, 2025, Contigliano celebrated Saint Cecilia with three days of music, history, and spirituality. Friday featured a concert in the Collegiate Church with the Romagnoli Music Band conducted by Maestro Mauro Valeriani, including a tribute to the historic Fedeli organ; Saturday included the presentation of an essay dedicated to Maestro Enrico Romagnoli; Sunday concluded with mass in the crypt and a performance by the Majorettes Fantasy in Piazza Porta de' Santi, followed by a community lunch.

Three days for Saint Cecilia

The 2025 edition of the Saint Cecilia Festival in Contigliano, in the province of Rieti, marked the grand return of the Romagnoli Music Band, now reconstituted as a social promotion association. Three days of music, historical memory, faith, and conviviality involved the entire Sabina community, confirming the band's role as a cultural pillar of the Rieti Lazio region.

The concert in the Collegiate Church, conducted by Maestro Mauro Valeriani, featured works by great composers alongside traditional symphonic marches, while the day dedicated to the history of Maestro Enrico Romagnoli recalled the centennial roots of the ensemble. Sunday, with mass in the crypt and majorettes in the square, closed the festival in a spirit of popular participation.
