Edition 2025 — Saint Catherine Festival

On September 25, 2025, Santa Caterina Villarmosa celebrated its patron saint, Saint Catherine of Alexandria, with the traditional patronal feast. After Holy Mass in the Mother Church, the saint's statue was carried in an evening procession through the streets of the center, past balconies adorned with white sheets and lights. The day concluded with music, dancing in the square, and a fireworks display, attracting the faithful, families, and many emigrants who returned for the occasion.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Catherine of Alexandria Festival took place on September 25, 2025, in Santa Caterina Villarmosa (Caltanissetta), renewing a patronal tradition deeply rooted in the local community.

The heart of the day was the evening procession of the saint's statue, which, after the liturgical celebration in the Mother Church, crossed the historic center amidst white sheets and lights displayed on the balconies of the most devout. The festival continued with performances and dancing in the square and concluded with the traditional fireworks, in an atmosphere of faith and community gathering that every year also attracts numerous emigrants returning to the town.
