Saint Blaise Festival

The 2025 summer edition of the Saint Blaise Festival took place in Corsano from August 1st to 3rd, 2025, with a program full of religious and civil events organized by the Santa Sofia V.M. parish and the Festival Committee.

On Friday, August 1st, the festivities opened with solemn religious rites, the lighting of the illuminations, and the procession, with the symbolic handing over of the city keys to the Saint by Mayor Francesco Caracciolo. On Saturday, August 2nd, the mass in Piazza San Biagio was presided over by Bishop Vito Angiuli, followed by a concert by the Città di Racale band and, in the evening, the meeting between the Salento music of Officina Zoè and the dances of Maristella Martella's Tarantarte; the day concluded with fireworks in the amphitheater area. On Sunday, August 3rd, the Nostalgia 90 live show in Piazza San Biagio closed the festival.

Friday, August 1, 2025: religious rites, lighting of the illuminations, procession, and symbolic handing over of the city keys to the Saint by Mayor Francesco Caracciolo.

Saturday, August 2, 2025: mass in Piazza San Biagio presided over by Bishop Vito Angiuli, concert by the Città di Racale band, and, at 10 PM, a performance by Officina Zoè with the dances of Maristella Martella's Tarantarte; followed by fireworks in the amphitheater area.

Sunday, August 3, 2025: Nostalgia 90 live show in Piazza San Biagio.
