Saint Bartholomew Festival (Patronal Feast)

The 2025 edition of the Saint Bartholomew Festival confirmed the customary celebration of the patronal feast in Geraci Siculo (Madonie, province of Palermo). On August 23rd, the eve of the solemnity, the traditional translation of the statues between the Church of San Bartolo and the Mother Church took place, accompanied by the Confraternity, the faithful, and the marching band.

On August 24th, the day of the Patron Saint, the day opened with a solemn Eucharistic celebration and musical entertainment by the band in the village square. In the late afternoon, the solemn procession took place, with the statues of Saint Bartholomew and Saint James carried on the shoulders of young devotees through the village streets, concluding with fireworks and a musical performance.
