The 2025 edition of the Saint Barbara Festival took place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Barbarano Romano, in the heart of the Tuscia region, province of Viterbo. The day followed the traditional calendar of the patronal feast, with holy mass at 8:30 AM followed, at 10:30 AM, by solemn mass and the procession of the relic through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the brass band.

Throughout the day, there were firecracker blasts and, in the evening at 6:30 PM in Piazza A. Diaz, the fireworks display that concluded the festivities. As per established local tradition, the program also included the improvised poetry competition, with performers composing rhymed octaves on free themes and witty banter, in a ritual of extemporaneous poetry that represents the most defining trait of the Barbarano festival.
