Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony's Bread

In 2025, Chiauci renewed the Saint Anthony's Bread Festival on June 13th, with the blessing and distribution of loaves house to house and the procession of women with wicker baskets full of bread and lilies.

In 2025, the Saint Anthony's Bread Festival renewed its ancient tradition in Chiauci on June 13th. The village families prepared the loaves that, after the blessing, were distributed to all inhabitants. The procession of women with wicker baskets decorated with lilies confirmed the spirit of sharing that animates this Alto Molise festival.

Programme

The 2025 edition featured Mass and the blessing of the bread, the procession of women with wicker baskets, and the distribution of loaves house to house, along with the community breakfast.
