Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony Abbot Tufo

In January 2025, the hamlet of Tufo di Carsoli once again renewed the appointment with the Saint Anthony Abbot Festival, an event rooted in the village's winter calendar organized by the Pro Loco. The blessing of the animals and the charity polenta feast in Piazza San Rocco brought the community together in the spirit of rural tradition and sharing, closing the cycle of initiatives that began during the Christmas period.

The 2025 edition

The Saint Anthony Abbot Festival in Tufo di Carsoli confirms itself year after year as one of the most heartfelt events in this small hamlet of the municipality of Carsoli, in the province of L'Aquila. In January 2025, the Pro Loco Tufo di Carsoli proposed the traditional blessing of the animals and the Saint Anthony Polenta Feast in Piazza San Rocco, keeping alive the custom of home delivery for the elderly and the sick.

The commemoration has always been part of the long period of celebrations that accompanies the village from Christmas until mid-January, with nativity scenes, lights, concerts, and convivial moments. A heritage of popular traditions that the Tufo community continues to pass down with care.
