Edition 2025 — Saint Aloysius Gonzaga in San Donaci

In June 2025, San Donaci celebrated the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Festival with the usual program curated by the Festival Committee (COMFEST). Around the liturgical feast of June 21st, religious celebrations, the "Meat, Love, and Fantasy" Saint Aloysius Food Festival dedicated to Salento gastronomy, and the equestrian parade with horses and decorated carriages took place, alongside cultural and solidarity events for the community.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Festival in San Donaci, in the Salento area of Brindisi, followed the traditional formula of the event promoted by COMFEST. On the main days, June 20th and 21st, liturgical celebrations were held in honor of the Jesuit saint.

The devotional dimension was accompanied by more convivial moments: the "Meat, Love, and Fantasy" Saint Aloysius Food Festival, featuring grilled meats, traditional Salento dishes, and local products, and the equestrian parade of horses and decorated carriages from all over Salento. There was no shortage of cultural and solidarity initiatives that characterize the festival, confirming its role as an identity-defining event for the entire community of San Donaci.
