Sagra ta Turre 2025 — ninth edition
The ninth edition of the Sagra ta Turre, organized by the Geminia cultural association, brought Torre Mozza to life on July 23 and 24, 2025, at the foot of the Ugento coastal tower on Viale Tiepolo, starting at 8:00 PM. In 2025, the festival once again combined rich Salento gastronomy with folk music and pizzica in one of the most evocative locations of the Ugento marina.
At the food stalls, visitors were able to sample handmade orecchiette and minchiareddhi, Salento pucce, pittule, grilled meats, and fried fish, with artisanal spumone to close the evening.
Programme
Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24, 2025
- From 8:00 PM — Opening of food stalls featuring typical Salento dishes: handmade orecchiette and minchiareddhi, Salento pucce, pittule, grilled meats, fried fish, and artisanal spumone.
- In the evening — Folk music with Stella Grande and the infectious rhythms of pizzica with Alla Bua, along with other groups from the Salento folk scene.
- Dancing and pizzica until late in the evening at the foot of the Torre Mozza tower.
