Edition 2025 — Sagra ta Puccia

The 2025 edition of the Sagra ta Puccia, the 24th annual event, took place in Supersano on August 3rd between Piazza IV Novembre and the historic center. The Salento puccia, baked in wood-fired ovens and stuffed with peppers, tomatoes, vegetables, tuna, and grilled meats, was the absolute star, accompanied by folk music, street performers, and the EXPO Supersano dedicated to the crafts and typical products of lower Salento.

The 24th edition of the Sagra ta Puccia was held in Supersano on August 3, 2025, cementing the festival's place among the historic summer events of Salento. In the historic center and on Piazza IV Novembre, the puccia, baked in a traditional wood-fired oven, was served in numerous variations, from olives and vegetables to tuna and grilled meats.

Alongside the tastings, the festival featured folk music and pizzica concerts, roving street performances, and the EXPO Supersano in the municipal gardens, a showcase for local crafts and agri-food products. As per tradition, the event also highlighted the village's heritage, from the MuBo (Wood Museum) to the mosaics by Father Marko Ivan Rupnik.
