Edition 2025 — Sagra Musicale Lucchese

The 62nd edition of the Sagra Musicale Lucchese, titled «Cantate un canto nuovo» (Sing a new song), took place during the Jubilee Year with nine concerts held between the historic center and the outskirts of Lucca. The program spanned centuries of sacred music, from medieval repertoire to piano, classical guitar, Bach, and Dvořák's Mass for choir and organ, with free admission by reservation.

62nd edition: «Cantate un canto nuovo»

The 2025 edition of the Sagra Musicale Lucchese, part of the Jubilee Year, featured nine concerts that reached both the historic center and the outskirts of the Municipality of Lucca. Highlights included «Bach: a musician at the service of God» (May 17, Church of Santa Maria Forisportam) and «A piano towards the Divine» (May 24, Palazzo Ducale), featuring baritone Mitchell Hutchings and pianist Fabio Menchetti. The grand finale on September 20, at the Church of Sant'Alessandro, presented «Jubilee 1775», featuring unpublished music by Pasquale Soffi and Fedele Fenaroli. All concerts were free to attend by reservation.
