Sagra Mondiale della Gota

In 2025, the Sagra Mondiale della Gota confirmed its tried-and-tested formula in the hamlet of Lama. The absolute star was the 'gota', the pork jowl cured according to local tradition, served at the food stands with pasta alla carbonara, all'amatriciana, and other Umbrian dishes. Evenings were enlivened by dance orchestras starting at 9 PM, while the traditional MotoGota rally brought together motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts. Organized by the Comitato Sagra Mondiale della Gota, the festival remains one of the most beloved gastronomic events in the Upper Tiber Valley.
