Edition 2025 — Sagra du Pan Fritu

In 2025, the Sagra du Pan Fritu and Festa di San Bernardo once again enlivened the San Bernardo d'Armo hamlet during Ferragosto, with the religious service, procession, and evening festival dedicated to re-fried stale bread. The festival reaffirmed its value as an Authentic Ligurian Event, celebrating the humble cuisine and traditions of the upper valley of Imperia.

The 2025 edition of the Sagra du Pan Fritu - Festa di San Bernardo renewed the ancient Ferragosto appointment in San Bernardo d'Armo. Between the morning religious service, the procession, and the evening festival dedicated to pan fritu, the community celebrated its patron saint and its gastronomic tradition. Stale bread re-fried in local extra virgin olive oil, a symbol of 're-use' cuisine, was once again the protagonist of a festival that tells the story of the peasant roots of the Riviera dei Fiori hinterland.
