Sagra du Cuddiruni Ragunisi and Triscele Folk Fiesta

Ninth edition in Piazza Umberto I

The 2025 edition of the Sagra du Cuddiruni Ragunisi took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Aragona, in Piazza Umberto I. The event, now in its ninth year, was organized by the ASD & APS Amici Raunisi association under president Carmelo Sammartino, with the patronage of the Municipality of Aragona.

Flavors and international folklore

The absolute protagonist was the cuddiruni, the rustic pizza topped with tomato sauce, anchovies, onions, pecorino, and breadcrumbs, available for tasting at the stalls in the square. The evening was intertwined with the fifth edition of the Triscele Folk Fiesta, which showcased folk groups from Argentina, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Egypt, along with Sicilian ensembles such as "I Tammura di Girgenti" and the "Città di Aragona" group. Amidst music, dance, colors, and flavors, the festival concluded with a spectacular fireworks display.
