Sagra di la Miennula Camastrisa Festival

The second edition of the Sagra di la Miennula Camastrisa was held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, in Piazza Garibaldi in Camastra (Province of Agrigento). The absolute star was the almond, celebrated through exhibition stands and free tastings of local products made with this fruit.

The educational segment featured contributions from nutritionist biologist Giuseppe Carlino, on the nutritional qualities and benefits of almonds, and local product expert Concetta Bonanno, on the commercial potential of Sicilian almonds and regional promotion. The evening concluded with a musical performance by students from the Arcadia singing school, directed by Angela Maniglia. The event was organized by the Municipality of Camastra with funding from the Regional Department of Agriculture.
