Sagra di Almè

The festival that unites the town

In Almè, a municipality in the province of Bergamo at the entrance to the Brembana Valley, the Oratory Sagra is the highlight event of the late summer. For almost three weeks, between the second half of August and the first few days of September, the Almè Oratory on Via Conciliazione becomes the meeting point for the entire community.

Two hundred volunteers at the stoves

The engine of the sagra are the approximately two hundred volunteers who take turns in the kitchen, grill, pizzeria, and bar service, active every evening from 7:00 PM (closed on Mondays). The gastronomic offering is the generous and down-to-earth kind typical of Bergamo oratory festivals, designed to welcome families and groups of friends.

Inflatables, raffles, and entertainment

In addition to food, the Sagra di Almè offers inflatable games for the little ones, a charity raffle, and evening entertainment that livens up the festival weeks. The event is part of the patronal festivities of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
