Sagra della Tortuccia

The 2025 Sagra della Tortuccia took place from July 9 to 13 in Piazza Anne Frank in Castel Giorgio, province of Terni. For 2025, the star was again the tortuccia, a fried flatbread from Umbrian peasant cuisine, served in sweet and savory versions at the food stalls set up each evening.

The event offered, alongside gastronomy, music and entertainment, in a festive atmosphere that involved the community of Castel Giorgio. Organized by the Comitato Sagra della Tortuccia ODV, the festival confirmed its role as an anticipated event of the Orvieto summer.

The 2025 edition took place from July 9 to 13 in Piazza Anne Frank, with food stalls open every evening to taste the tortuccia (sweet and savory versions) and traditional dishes, accompanied by music and entertainment.
