Edition 2025 — Sagra della Tira

In 2025, the Sagra della Tira enlivened Piazza della Vittoria in Cairo Montenotte with the town's symbolic dish, the focaccia stuffed with sausage. Amidst gastronomic stands, music, and convivial evenings, the event confirmed its role as an unmissable summer appointment in the Val Bormida.

The 2025 edition of the Sagra della Tira brought back the tradition of the tira on Piazza della Vittoria, the focaccia stuffed with sausage that tells the gastronomic story of Cairo Montenotte. The Pro Loco served the specialty on warm July evenings, accompanied by music and entertainment, in a well-attended popular festival. The event reaffirmed the bond between the Cairo community and its symbolic dish, an authentic expression of the Val Bormida culture.
