Edition 2025 — Sagra della Soppressata
The Sagra della Soppressata e del Caciocavallo in Rapone was held on August 10, 2025, reaffirming its status as one of the oldest gastronomic festivals in Lucania. Organized by the Pro Loco, it animated the historic center with tastings of soppressata and caciocavallo prepared according to traditional recipes, stands with typical dishes and local wines, folk music, storytelling for the little ones, and exhibitions of local products. Among the offerings were also guided tours of the fairy tale murals that give Rapone a unique village identity.
