Edition 2025 — Sagra della Frittella

In 2025, the hamlet of Pozzo once again celebrated the Sagra della Frittella in July, featuring traditional sweet fritters, Umbrian cuisine dishes — gnocchi with goose ragù, strangozzi with truffles, wild boar, and sausages — and dancing evenings animated by orchestras, amidst the olive groves of the Gualdo area.

The 2025 edition confirmed the Sagra della Frittella di Pozzo as one of the most beloved gastronomic events of the Gualdo summer. Among the olive groves of the hamlet of Gualdo Cattaneo, the stalls offered the sweet fritters from the traditional recipe alongside Umbrian cuisine classics — gnocchi with goose ragù, strangozzi with truffles, wild boar, and sausages — accompanied by local wines. Every evening, orchestras enlivened the dancing nights, attracting families and visitors from all over the region.
