Edition 2025 — Sagra della Frandura
The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, August 24 in Montalto Ligure, confirming the tradition of one of the most beloved August festivals in the western hinterland. The star was the frandura, the De.Co. potato cake, offered for tasting in its original recipe starting at noon, along with other valley cuisine dishes.
The day combined taste and culture: the opening of churches and monuments with guided tours, the artisan market, entertainment for children, and in the afternoon, the jovial contest for the biggest, smallest, and strangest potato, all accompanied by music and dancing. A festival organized by the Pro Loco of Montalto with the Municipality of Montalto Carpasio.
