Sagra della Castagna di Morra

The 50th edition of the Sagra della Castagna di Morra was held from October 17 to 19, 2025, celebrating half a century of history. The festival began on Friday, October 17, with the inauguration at the Oratory of San Crescentino, where the 25th edition of morrArte, a contemporary art exhibition curated by Mario Fondacci featuring works by sculptor Simone Filosi, kicked off. The program included walks in the woods, exhibition and sale of artisanal products, ancient crafts, music, and itinerant performances, with "Dancing in the Fall" and the musical experience "Sulle Ali del Canto" by Scuola Novamusica. The food stands offered chestnuts in all their forms and traditional Morra dishes for three days, in the village of Morra in Città di Castello.
