Edition 2025 — Sagra della Castagna
In October 2025, the Sagra della Castagna enlivened Crocefieschi with autumn flavours: roasted chestnuts, polenta, and sausages, accompanied by an antique market and music. A village festival celebrating the symbolic fruit of the woods in the upper Valle Scrivia.
The 2025 edition of the Sagra della Castagna confirmed the autumn event in Crocefieschi, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. Among the Pro Loco stalls with roasted chestnuts and typical dishes, the antique market and music, the festival attracted visitors from the Genoese hinterland, celebrating the chestnut tradition of the Ligurian Apennines.
