The patronal festival of Galzignano Terme
The Sagra del Rosario is the patronal festival of Galzignano Terme, a spa town in the province of Padova in the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills. Linked to the feast of the Madonna del Rosario (October 7th), it takes place between late September and the first few days of October and is one of the historic festivals of the Euganean territory, reaching its 55th edition in 2025.
Galzignano Medievale
The common thread of the festival is the medieval reenactment: ladies, knights, and duels take the village back to its ancient centuries, with stories and initiatives spread throughout the streets. Among the most characteristic moments is the corsa dei mussi, reinterpreted in an ironic and sustainable way with bicycles "disguised as donkeys" that race along the main street, and archery with ranges set up for adults and children.
Fair, market, and engines
Alongside the reenactment, the festival offers a fair-market and a market in Valsanzibio, dedicated to antiques, hobbies, vintage items, and local typical products, as well as the Vespa e dintorni motorcycle meeting and food stalls with Euganean flavors. Organized by the Pro Loco of Galzignano Valsanzibio and the Municipality of Galzignano Terme, the festival combines devotion, history, and conviviality.
Sagra del Rosario — edition 2026
The Sagra del Rosario is the recurring patronal festival of Galzignano Terme (Padova), linked to the Madonna del Rosario (October 7th). After the 55th edition in 2025, the 2026 event is expected in the same period, between late September and the first few days of October.
Organized by the Pro Loco of Galzignano Valsanzibio and the Municipality, the festival combines the "Galzignano Medievale" reenactment with the tradition of the village festival: ladies and knights, corsa dei mussi, archery, market fair, Vespa and surroundings motorcycle meeting, and food stalls. The precise dates will be announced by the organizers closer to the event.

Program to come. The usual structure, documented in previous editions, includes:
- Medieval reenactment with ladies, knights, and duels through the village streets
- Corsa dei mussi in an ironic and sustainable version (bicycles disguised as donkeys)
- Archery and activities for children and young people
- Market fair and market for antiques, hobbies, vintage items, and typical products
- Vespa e dintorni motorcycle meeting
- Food stalls with Euganean flavors and the Mass of the Madonna del Rosario
