Edition 2025 — Sagra del Giambellino

The Giambellino-Lorenteggio neighbourhood of Milan has a long tradition of community festivals promoted by the Neighbourhood Workshop, in the participatory and solidarity spirit that animates the Sagra del Giambellino, featuring gastronomy, music, culture, and social engagement.

Giambellino-Lorenteggio, a working-class neighbourhood in southwest Milan, has for years been enlivened by community initiatives promoted by the Neighbourhood Workshop, active in strengthening social cohesion and resident participation. The Sagra del Giambellino gathers and coordinates these energies, blending a food market, community lunch, music, folk dancing, theatre, street circus, and cultural events. A festival that arises from the grassroots and tells the story of the solidarity that defines a part of the city often perceived as marginal, but rich in relationships and vitality.
