Edition 2025 — Sagra del Fungo Porcino
In 2025, the Sagra del Fungo Porcino di Tavarone was held from August 22 to 24, celebrating one of the oldest gastronomic traditions in the Spezia area. Evening dinners and Sunday lunches featuring porcini mushrooms enlivened the hamlet of Maissana, in the woods of Alta Val di Vara, with the patronage of the Liguria Region.
The 2025 edition of the Sagra del Fungo Porcino di Tavarone took place from August 22 to 24 in the hamlet of Maissana. The festival confirmed its role as a historic event in the Spezia hinterland, with the porcino mushroom as the star of evening dinners and Sunday lunches.
For the first time with the patronage of the Liguria Region, the festival attracted visitors to the woods of Alta Val di Vara, amidst authentic flavors and village hospitality.
