The festival that opens the Belluno summer

The Sagra del Campanot, linked to the Feast of San Giovanni, is considered "the first festival of the Belluno summer". Every June, it enlivens the hamlet of Castion, in the municipality of Belluno, attracting residents and visitors for over a week of festivities in the square adjacent to the sports field.

Cuisine, music, and dancing

The program revolves around the food stand with typical Belluno cuisine dishes, complemented by an outdoor concert area and evenings of ballroom and Latin-American dancing. There are also sports tournaments, making Castion's sports field the beating heart of the event, in a mix of tradition, fun, and socialising.

A "Festival of Quality"

The Sagra del Campanot has obtained the official recognition of "Sagra di Qualità" from UNPLI (National Union of Pro Loco of Italy), which rewards its commitment to local traditions, the promotion of local products, and environmental attention, with the use of reusable tableware. It is organized by Pro Loco Pieve Castionese APS, active all year round with events such as the Castionese Carnival and theatre seasons at the Teatro San Gaetano.

For those visiting Belluno and the Dolomites at the beginning of summer, the Sagra del Campanot is an opportunity to experience a genuine village festival, where the community of Castion warmly welcomes visitors with flavours, music, and tradition, at the foot of the Venetian mountains.
