Sagra del Brustico e del Prosciutto e Melone

The 2025 edition of the Sagra del Brustico e del Prosciutto e Melone confirmed Villastrada as one of the most popular gastronomic stops of the summer on Lake Trasimeno. At the Club Sportivo Villastrada Umbra, the stalls offered the famous brustico — lake fish grilled over cane embers — along with tegamaccio, pasta with fish sauce, grilled meat, and the summer classic prosciutto and melon.

The evenings, enlivened by orchestras and dancing, attracted residents from the Castiglione del Lago area and tourists vacationing on Lake Trasimeno, in a village festival atmosphere that preserves the flavours and cooking techniques of Umbrian lakeside tradition.
